The title pretty much sums up this post: if you haven’t seen any of these shows –  you’re missing out! Seriously, go ahead and open the Netflix tab…..right after you’re done reading this post of course. 🙂

1. Space Sweepers

– Movie, Sci-fi

Starring Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Jin Seo Kyu and Yu Ha Jin, Space Sweepers is South Korea’s first sci-fi film. Personally I loved this movie for many reasons so check the video below for my full synopsis!

2. Busted! S3

– TV Show, Comedy

Now this show is one of the funniest out. Season 3 sees the return of Yoo Jae Suk, Park Min Young, Sehun, Se Jeong, Lee Kwang Su, Kim Jong Min and Lee Seung Gi solving difficult cases all over Korea. This season is a bit more serious with some of the cases bringing light issues like online bullying and trolling.

3. Sweet Home

-TV Show, Horror

It’s a fact, Korean cinema LOVES zombies. Zombies from the Joseon Dynasty (Kingdom – omg when’s S3 coming out?), zombies on a train…to Busan 😀 or a plane! Korean zombies will chew their way to you heart. 😀 So when Sweet Home dropping you’d think we’d be zombie’d out by this movie based off a webtoon brings another level to the creation , survival and killings of a zombie apocalypse.

4. Alive

– Movie, Horror

Another zombie movie! Yes, I have recommended a ton of horror but suspense, horror and gore categories are genres Korean cinema excels at greatly: Man From Nowhere, The Handmaiden, Old Boy…should I go on? The voyeuristic POV of surviving a zombie outbreak is greatly brought to life from the gut-wrenching emotional journey brought to life by Yoo Ah In.

5. Korean Pork Belly Rhapsody

– TV Show, Documentary

Pork belly is in my top 5 favorite Korean foods so if this is the same for you I definitely recommend watching this. Even if it’s not your favorite, watching the history of a staple Korean food will have your mouth watering.

What Korean shows are you currently bingeing? Are there any you would add to the list?
